Africa have access to stories that are relatable and in their home language.

A nation of storytellers is facing a literacy crisis

2 out of 3 of Zambian parents say Zambia is not truthfully represented in their children’s books. We at Cadbury want to change this, with a little bit of help from everyone. We want to awaken the love of reading in children by making stories in which they are truly represented available to them. However, we need the generous intent of Zambians to make it happen. The generosity that helped create 30 original storybooks that are now live on our website for anyone to download, read and enjoy.

In 2022, our mission continues as we seek to inspire more generosity in the world. We begin by asking our nation of storytellers to share a homegrown story so that more children can have access to their socio-cultural heritage relatably. There is generosity in all of us and your generosity can make a meaningful difference.
